City By Night

San Francisco is a city of life, whether it's during the day, or at night. 'City By Night' is a profile of the city in the night, and the light that it creates within the darkness. Elements of the short film was shot and compiled from various parts of the city, and not just a single part of it. This short explores and engages into the city life at night. Many influences stem from various sources, yet one of the most influencial is the 1982 Science Fiction Noir film 'Blade Runner'. The films cityscape design is influential to the style in which the short was shot. The time of shooting will be during a week of raining weather, which is complimentary to the style of 'Blade Runner'.
